Development Overview
Hockey Manitoba is pleased to offer a continuum of athlete development programs for our members. These programs vary by participant age to aid in proper athlete development. Despite having much lower membership numbers than other provincial Branches, Hockey Mantioba continually deleops athletes who move onto National and International success.
Hockey Manitoba strives to work within the Long Term Athlete Development (LTAD) Model, which is a model that outlines athlete development from youth to adult stages. Please visit the LTAD website for more information about the LTAD model and athlete development information.
